Terms and Conditions
Full terms, conditions and other important information for the World Cup 2018 – Fan Fest design competition:
- You MUST be within the specified age groups to enter. A valid form of identification will be required to collect your tickets.
- One entry per person.
- A valid email address and telephone number should be given to allow us to contact you, together with where you saw the competition advertised.
- The judge’s decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

How do you choose the winner?
After the closing date, all of the designs and ideas will be looked at by our panel of judges who will pick the winning designs from each age group.
How will I know if I’ve won?
We will contact the winner no later than 23/10/2009, either by phone or email.
What happens then?
You will receive your tickets to the Christmas Show at De Montfort Hall and possibly see your designs come to life at the 2018 Leicester Fifa Fan Fests.
Will my details be entered onto a database?
Yes, if you are not already on there, your email address will be added to our mass mail database – but you can unsubscribe at any time and your details will not be shared with other organisations. See full data protection issues below.
Data protection: by entering the FIFA World Cup 2018 Fan Fest competition you will be automatically subscribed to the One Leicester mailing list - meaning you will receive our e-Newsletter, which is sent out monthly, to let you know about events, festivals, offers, news, competitions and more... we may also send you other very occasional emails if we have important updates to tell you about.
Information provided to One Leicester will only be used for the express purpose of communicating with you to meet your requirements. Personal details will not be passed on to any other person or organisation other than One Leicester / LCC employees.
